Bauda – “Euphoria …Of Flesh, Men and The Great Escape”

Chilie’s Bauda are definitely different. Though mainly mentioned on metal sites and mags, the band is more like a cross between progressive and atmospheric rock. The songs ooze with emotion and due to their length are not recommended for casual listeners. Many tracks are over ten minutes long which isn’t a problem, when the songs are interesting.

The songs ooze with emotion and due to their length are not recommended for casual listeners. Many tracks are over ten minutes long which isn’t a problem, when the songs are interesting.

More often then not on Euphoria …Of Flesh, Men and The Great Escape however, the length of these songs could have been shaved a bit. For example, the best song on the album, the stunning “Crepuscular” is a mere three and a half minutes long, which shows what a bit of brevity can do. Though good, this is for serious prog fans only.
