Defiler – “Lucky 38” [YouTube Song Stream]

The Skinny: Northern California developing life-core act Defiler has signed new worldwide deals with Razor & Tie and its publishing arm, Razor & Tie Music Publishing. Defiler is currently working on its R&T debut which will be released later this year. The band is self-producing with mixing duties being handled by Chris “Zeuss” Harris (Suicide Silence, Chelsea Grin, The Acacia Strain). “Words cannot describe how excited I am about signing with Razor & Tie. I’ve always had massive respect for the label, because of the diverse roster and bands I love, and they’re just the greatest people ever,” explains lead singer Jake Pelzl. He continues, “I feel like the new album is a true showcase to what all of us can do as a band. We’re going further with the melody, the brutality; I’m playing around with lots of different lyrical ideas. I hope for it to really make an impression in the world of heavy music.”
