What one piece of equipment do you use to obtain your signature sound?
Keith: If I had to pick my one most important piece of gear I would have to say my Fulltone Fat-Boost.
What about it makes it so important to you?
Keith:As a lead player I want something to help push my tone through the mix at key points. This pedal is perfect for smoothing out my tone and giving me a subtle boost in the mix. This is a must have for live shows.
What are the major pros and cons?
Keith: A few pros of this pedal would be that is compact and built like a tank. The knobs are stiff and don’t wiggle much when bumped by my foot. Along with a volume and tone knob It also has a treble and bass control dial. It’s just a really solid boost pedal. I really don’t have anything bad to say about it.
How long have you used this piece of equipment and would you ever change it?
Keith: I have been using the Fat-Boost for about 3 years now. It ended a long time search for the perfect boost pedal. That being said I wouldn’t be apposed to changing if I came across the right pedal. Always chasing that perfect tone.
Any final thoughts or comments on the gear?
Keith: This is a reliable piece of equipment that has never given me any problems. I totally recommend it to lead players getting lost in the mix.
