Black Spiders three guitar head-banging rawk unit have premiered a video for the song “Kiss Tried To Kill Me” online. The song appears on the band’s forthcoming U.S. debut, ‘Sons Of The North,’ which drops on April 17th via Dark Riders/Red Eye.

Fans of the classic 70’s post-apocalyptic gang epic, The Warriors will notice a not so subtle direct lift of the film in the video. The quintet of Pete “Spider” Spiby (vocals/guitar), Ozzy ‘Owl’ Lister (guitar), Mark ‘Dark Shark’ Thomas (guitar), Adam ‘the Fox’ Irwin (bass) and Tiger Si (drums) battle a slew of gangs through Sheffield, ranging from a pack of mimes to vicious roller derby girls. Spiby says of the film’s inspiration “We felt we had a kinship with the Warriors’ quest, metaphorically ‘bumping’ our way back home through the (mostly) unfriendly state of the industry.”
