The Atlas Moth have become one of the most talked about bands in the American metal scene on the heels of their skull-jarring opus ‘An Ache For The Distance,’ which was released last year via Profound Lore Records. Known for pushing the boundaries of metal and experimenting with outside influences, the Chicago band recently covered “Black Trees” by experimental/synth rock band Hooray For Earth. The track was premiered today HERE.
The Atlas Moth are also preparing to descend upon Austin, TX for “South By Southwest” next week. No strangers to SXSW, the band has several shows planned that will see them share the stage with Nachtmystium, Andrew W.K., All Pigs Must Die, Rwake and more.
