Man Bites Dog – “Whispers in My Mind” [Free Download]
Together since 2004, the Moscow, Russia-based indie rock four-piece Man Bites Dog have spent the past eight years building a local (and subsequently international) following via independent releases and extensive gigging. Late last year the band released their EP Safe and Sound, which features the hot new single (and first to hit North America), “Whispers in My Mind.”
The Skinny: Together since 2004, the Moscow, Russia-based indie rock four-piece Man Bites Dog have spent the past eight years building a local (and subsequently international) following via independent releases and extensive gigging. Late last year the band released their EP Safe and Sound, which features the hot new single (and first to hit North America), “Whispers in My Mind.”
With a sound recommendable for fans of groups such as Tokyo Police Club, The Futureheads, We Are Scientists, Good Shoes and The Rumble Strips, Man Bites Dog’s music is reminiscent of 80’s/90’s era underground American indie rock and full of wild guitar work catchy melodies. This first US/CAN single is a tight offering and though it’s just a small glimpse into the band’s work, it’s a great indicator of what’s to come.
