American metalcore band MyChildren MyBride are gearing up to release their new, self-titled full-length on Solid State Records. Guitarist Robert Bloomfield recently gave PureGrainAudio some of his time to discuss the Orange Cabs you’ll see him use on stage. Read on to learn more about this key piece of gear.

What one piece of equipment do you use to obtain your signature sound?
Robert: My Orange cabs. I’ve been told multiple times that I have a great tone, and the credit definitely goes to my cabs.

What about it makes it so important to you?
Robert: They provide a low-end punch that I’ve never gotten from any other cab, and I’ve tried them all!

What are the major pros and cons?
Robert: Besides looking great, definitely the construction of the cab. A con would be the weight. They are pretty damn heavy!

How long have you used this piece of equipment and would you ever change it?
Robert: I’ve been using Orange cabs for about two years now. I’ll definitely be sticking with these cabs as long as I’m a musician.

Any final thoughts or comments on the gear?
Robert: Check out Orange! They have tons of awesome gear. Won’t be too long before I use a full Orange set up.
