Courrier – “The Cave” [Mumford Sons Cover] [Music Video] [World Premiere]

Austin, Texas quartet Courrier are that breathe of fresh air that is so badly needed in an industry teeming with mediocrity and lack of innovation. Unlike most of their competitors, this group is loaded with an arsenal of passion-infused, melodic and hook-filled rock that will have you utterly infatuated. Comparisons to all-star acts Coldplay, Death Cab for Cutie and Kings of Leon aside, Courrier bring to the table their own unique and unavoidable brand of alternative rock.

The Skinny: Austin, Texas quartet Courrier are that breathe of fresh air that is so badly needed in an industry teeming with mediocrity and lack of innovation.

Says the guys of their debut full-length offering, A Violent Flame, “This is the best work we have ever done”. The album was engineered by Adam Hawkins (Switchfoot, Regina Spektor) and produced by Matt Novesky and boasts a vastly mature level of lyricism, melody, and overall songwriting. If this album will prove anything it’s that Courrier is destined for much bigger things and will do so thanks to their fun, honest and approachable rock. Now, after Courrier’s song “Between” quickly raced up the Alternative Charts thanks to significant music placement in ‘The Vampire Diaries’, we’re pleased to present you with the premiere of their outstanding video and cover of The Mumford Sons’ song “The Cave”.
