The Skinny: Rock/metal band Automatic Static hails from Sacramento, CA and brings with them a very pleasant ruckus. Headed up by vocalist and guitarist Zac Diebels, the group just finished the follow-up to their 6 song, Shaun Lopez-mixed (Far, Deftones, Demon Hunter) EP The Murder of California. The new release, Number IV, is a wicked collection of new material, including the lead single “Someday”. Said Z Rokk of his new song “Someday”: “‘Someday’ is a song basically about living for the day and trying not to control things that are out of my control. I seem to always think ahead and not enjoy the moment as much as i wish i did. I felt that writing a song about how the day will come when i am able to do so would be fun. I am a huge admirer of people that can be so care free and just ride the wave of life wherever it takes the. I’m too much of a worrier and a total artist type for this I think. Till then I will keep writing songs about it… Maybe it’s my muse?”
