The Skinny: Rock/metal band Automatic Static hails from Sacramento, CA and brings with them a very pleasant ruckus. Headed up by vocalist and guitarist Zac Diebels, the group just finished the follow-up to their 6 song, Shaun Lopez-mixed (Far, Deftones, Demon Hunter) EP The Murder of California. The new release, Number IV, is a wicked collection of new material, including the lead single “Someday”. Fans of Stone Temple Pilots, Led Zepplin, Filter and even The Who will find something to enjoy on this new effort.

Said Z Rokk of his new song “Someday”: “‘Someday’ is a song basically about living for the day and trying not to control things that are out of my control. I seem to always think ahead and not enjoy the moment as much as i wish i did. I felt that writing a song about how the day will come when i am able to do so would be fun. I am a huge admirer of people that can be so care free and just ride the wave of life wherever it takes the. I’m too much of a worrier and a total artist type for this I think. Till then I will keep writing songs about it… Maybe it’s my muse?”
