In The Audience – “Terminal” [EP]

Indie bands are a dime a dozen and more often than not I find they all sound about the same. Ironically, it seems that in an effort to differentiate themselves from the mainstream, they all end up sounding about the same. In The Audience is a different story altogether and their four song EP Terminal is exceptionally good.

Indie bands are a dime a dozen and more often than not I find they all sound about the same. Ironically, it seems that in an effort to differentiate themselves from the mainstream, they all end up sounding about the same. In The Audience is a different story altogether and their four song EP Terminal is exceptionally good.

While they have not reinvented the wheel or revolutionized the indie genre by any means, they have created a disc that is packed with great melodies and loads of memorable moments. Terminal is an emotional, passion-filled disc that I quickly found myself fully immersed in; for a brief period I completely lost track of time. I really like this recording and feel it’s a stand out amongst the indie crowd. I can’t wait to hear more from these guys and I eagerly look forward to a full-length disc that I can tune into and get lost in.
