What one piece of equipment do you use to obtain your signature sound?
Chris: I experiment and buy and sell gear constantly to try and find the perfect tone, but the main constant would have to be my Jackson guitars. I currently play an SLSMG soloist, it’s a great guitar.

What about it makes it so important to you?
Chris: I’ve played Jackson guitars for many years, I really enjoy playing them. They’re comfortable and really easy to play.

What are the major pros and cons?
Chris: Pros: It looks and sounds amazing, it’s also the super lightweight model so it’s a joy to play live. It has a thin neck that’s perfect for playing fast leads and unbeatable high fret access.

Cons: There are none!

How long have you used this piece of equipment and would you ever change it?
Chris: I’ve used Jackson guitars for a long time, although I’ve only had this guitar for around 6 months. Only reason I’d change it is for another Jackson! I’d love a Jackson SLS with a Floyd rose.

Any final thoughts or comments on the gear?
Chris: If you play live in a metal band you need a guitar you can trust to stay in tune and shred on nightly, and Jacksons are perfect for that.
