The Life And Times Premiere “Dat Twelve” Performance Video Online
Noisecreep has premiered a video for the song, “Day Twelve” by Chicago space rock/math rock trio, The Life And Times. The video is a live-in studio performance of the tune and was recorded with absolutely no overdubs or cleanups. While not entirely pristine, it does capture the band’s shoegaze inspired wall of sound and post-rock dynamics.

Guitarist and vocalist Allen Epley says of the video, “”Day Twelve” was shot at our studio here in Chicago, affectionately named Electronical for its super close proximity and relative puniness to Steve Albini’s Electrical studio. It was filmed by Clayton Brown and edited by Eric Abert, our bassist, at a point in time after we’d laid down basic tracks and overdubs on the album, but still hadn’t begun the mixing process.”
