On the heels of a wildly successful tour with Animals As Leaders, and nearing the end of a run supporting Obscura, Maine based tech-prog metal band, Last Chance To Reason, have premiered the video for their track, “The Prototype,” exclusively HERE. The song is from their Prosthetic debut, ‘Level 2,’ which was released in April and the video is directed by Scott Hansen (Animals As Leaders). The band will meet up with Protest The Hero and Scale The Summit next week for another full tour.

Drummer Evan Sammons commented: “We’ll finally be releasing a video for our song, “The Prototype” which we shot with Scott Hansen before our summer tour with Animals As Leaders. This song seems to be something of a fan favorite, so we’re happy to have a video for it. Keep an eye out for the Transformers-style lens flares- nerdgasm.”

He continued: “We’re pumped to be on the road with the amazing Obscura. We’ve been following those dudes since their first record and we’ve always found them absolutely mind-blowing. Since we’re both concept-driven, heavy, progressive bands it seemed a natural fit!”

Vocalist Mike Lessard commented on the band’s activity of the past several months, and the upcoming Protest The Hero tour: “Since our epic adventures with Animals As Leaders we’ve been busy leveling up in our home state of Maine. Writing new material, rehearsing, playing video games, and preparing the new segment for our interactive conceptual album are just a few of the been up to. We recently acquired our new guitarist, Mike Abdow, who’s a guitar wizard! We’ve been working diligently with him, so we can’t wait for people to see the new and improved LCTR! We’ve been fans of Protest The Hero and Scale The Summit for awhile now, so we’re beyond thrilled to be involved with this. The diversity and musicianship of this tour makes us even more excited to be a part of it! We can’t wait to rock ‘n roll with these great bands!”
