A draw I have always had for Ringworm is their ability to keep to their roots of old hardcore. They are still thrashy with some punk influence, but i just dig the old school feel. Vocalist, Human Furnace, still keeps to his shouting style giving the songs a grungy and “unclean” sound throughout the album. And though every track sounds similar, that’s what I dig about Ringworm albums; you can count on fast/loud songs from front to back.

I’m once again stoked to see Ringworm has kept to their signature sound instead of trying to keep up with the “current” hardcore trends. On that note I would like to add, Ringworm serve as one of the few bands who rekindle fond memories of Victory Records’ former genre glory.
