Vans and Mastodon are teaming up to create an exclusive event on September 27th for Vans’ Facebook fans to celebrate reaching 3 million Likes at the end of August. A hub for all things Vans including the concert webcasts, team rider chats and the latest product updates, Vans’ Facebook community tripled in size after reaching the million fan mark a year ago.
As a big thanks to all of you for 3 million Likes on Facebook, they called in a favor from some friends. Mastodon will be doing a live chat from their studio on September 27th, which is the release date for Mastodon’s highly anticipated new studio album, ‘The Hunter’. This is Mastodon’s 5th studio album and follows their universally acclaimed concept album, ‘Crack The Skye’ released in March 2009. ‘The Hunter’ is the 3rd studio album released on Reprise Records in the US and Canada and their first to be released on Roadrunner Records outside of North America. The band will have plenty to talk about so make sure to be prepared to have your witty, scintillating questions answered with equally razor-sharp, sardonic answers from the band.
