Lucky residents of Los Angeles will have the chance to see the multi-platinum-selling artist in a rare intimate performance at The Viper Room, week of release on October 20th. Everlast also was part of KROQ’s Epicenter Show on September 24th at Irvine’s Verizon Wireless Center where the site OC Reloaded exclaimed, “Everlast (aka Erik Schrody) is not just any ole white-boy rapper. He’s also a talented songwriter, musician, and leader of the legendary rap group House of Pain,” calling his songs “brilliant.” Everlast will also play KTBZ’s Buzzfest in Houston on October 22nd. A full tour will be announced shortly.
Although there have been albums in between, ‘Songs For The Ungrateful Living’ is the spiritual follow-up to his 1998 breakthrough, the multi-platinum ‘Whitey Ford SingsTthe Blues’, an eclectic mix of rock, blues, country, pop and hip-hop, which topped the Billboard charts and sold more than 3 million copies on the strength of its crossover hit, “What It’s Like.”
