Front woman Mariel Loveland explains the meaning behind the song, “Everything for the character in that song is going really well and that person’s really happy, but she can’t stop thinking about when they won’t be. Even though they are happy, she ruins it for herself.” It’s these sentiments that make up the majority ‘Everything’s Amazing And Nobody’s Happy’ – the feeling that though you have everything, it’s never enough.
