Set It Free – “Set It Free” [EP]
New Jersey rockers Set It Free have just released their roaring, self-titled EP. While the disc contains only 5 tracks, they’re all high-energy, melodic tunes that are each quite good in their own right. Solid musicianship abounds, as does the ability to write fantastic, hook-driven, accessible music that most rock fans should really dig.

Overall, this EP is a strong debut, although this music junky found it much too short (clocking in at under 17 minutes). Fans of the punk/rock genres will not be let down in the least; Set It Free is a band that we’re sure to hear more from in the very near future.
