Album Review
Crashdiet – “Generation Wild”
Raw, rough around the edges and gutsy, the way I believe metal should be. That is the best way to describe, Generation Wild, the newest release from the Swedish glam metal band, Crash Diet. This CD reminded me of some of the guitar driven bands that came out of the L A Scene in the late 80’s (Skid Row and Hanoi Rocks come to mind).

Every song has that gritty, unapologetic feel to it but still maintains a good amount of hook-laden choruses and a whole lot of melody to keep you singing along. This is straight up, good old rock and roll; no pretenses and no bullshit, Crash Diet plays their tails off and they have written some really good music in the process. At the end of the day I would recommend checking out Generation Wild – it really is a good listen.
