Sum 41 – “Screaming Bloody Murder” [Song Review]
I’m just going to come right out and say it, I don’t like this new serious Sum 41 as much as I liked the snotty pop-punk Sum 41 from when I was in middle school.

Sum 41 songs have been getting more serious on every CD, and this song just continues the trend. Musically, the band’s metal influences really stand out, and honestly, it kind of sounds like it would fit on that My Chemical Romance Black Parade offering.
It’s worth checking the single out, to see just what kind of direction Sum 41 is heading in these days, but I can’t help but wonder if the fact that I used to think Sum 41 ruled super hard is influencing my enjoyment of the song, and if it really stands on its own. [ END ]
