Bloodiest are among the 12 bands premiering new music exclusively via Epitonic.com today in celebration of the site’s official re-launch. Originally launched in 1999, Epitonic.com became a hotbed of music discovery offering free and legal MP3s with each song being selected and written about by a young staff of music lovers. Epitonic ’11 aims to recapture the spirit of the original site by curating and filtering underground music but using new technology that was not available ten years ago.
Bloodiest are offering their track “Slave Rule”, off their debut album ‘Descent’, via Epitonic at THIS LOCATION. This follows the band’s premiere of ‘Descent’ album opener “Fallen”, last week via Crustcake.com. ‘Descent’ will see a March 29th North American release date and is available for pre-order at THIS LOCATION and digitally via iTunes. ‘Descent’ was recorded with engineer Sanford Parker at Steve Albini’s Electrical Audio studios in Chicago.
Bloodiest has announced a co-record release show in support of ‘Descent’ with label-mates Indian for April 9th at Subterranean (2011 North Ave. Chicago, IL). Doors are at 9:00pm and tickets are available at THIS LOCATION.
