In 2011, KEN Mode has returned faith to all fans of heavy music that there is still new ground to be covered. One of the most unique and destructive slabs of music to come along in quite some time, ‘Venerable’ has already caught the attention of many new fans and press alike. On March 15th, the first offering of KEN Mode’s new partnership with Profound Lore Records will be made available to the public but today the band has decided to give another sneak peak at what can be expected of this gargantuan new album. Exclusively through BrooklynVegan.com, you can now check out the brand new track “Book of Muscle” HERE.

KEN Mode is also preparing to hit the road hard in support of ‘Venerable’, with an extensive tour throughout North America set to keep the band busy for quite some time – including a stop at SXSW 2011 – so fans will have no excuse to miss these crushing Canadians this year. Dates for the trek are forthcoming as is a pre-order for ‘Venerable’, which will be available through the Profound Lore Records website. Stay tuned for details on this and more.

‘Venerable’ was produced by Kurt Ballou (Converge, Trap Them, Torche) at the legendary God City Studios and mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side. The album features 10 songs that blur the lines between raw sonic aggression and introspective, melodic moments and artwork by Julie Ann Mann and Josh Graham (Soundgarden, Neurosis, A Storm of Light).
