Streaming now on the Epitaph website, “Machine Gun Blues” is the first single from Social Distortion’s upcoming Hard Times and Nursery Rhymes album.
The classic rock and blues inspired punk sound of Social Distortion is in full force in this latest track, Mike Ness’ gravely voice is still balanced by the melody of his backing singers, and the influence of The Stones is just as clear as anything from the California scene the band helped create.
This song is classic Social D, and it’s a sign of awesome things to come with the new CD, which releases on January 18th, 2011. [ END ]
