Eyes Around – “Cautionary Tale” [Free Download]
On the heels of the September release of their debut EP Alpha, Alabama rockers Eyes Around released their second EP, appropriately titled Beta on November 2nd. Both EPs are serving as set-up pieces for the band’s full-length album The Voice Inside the Voice, due out in Spring 2011 on WorldCitizen Records.
The Skinny: On the heels of the September release of their debut EP Alpha, Alabama rockers Eyes Around released their second EP, appropriately titled Beta on November 2nd. Both EPs are serving as set-up pieces for the band’s full-length album The Voice Inside the Voice, due out in Spring 2011 on WorldCitizen Records.
The three tracks on Beta range stylistically from the intense “Jet” to the epic and contemplative “Constellation”. A video for the latter track has been making the rounds virally. Eyes Around is led by guitarist, vocalist and songwriter Michael Donohue, along with Donohue, Daniel Hall on bass, Brandon Donohue on guitar and Matt Thomas on drums. Already veterans of the road, Eyes Around will be continuing their headlining tour through the month of November. They have already opened for bands such as R.E.M. and My Morning Jacket.
