In an attempt to infringe on more copyrights and spend less money in two and a half minutes than any other band has dared in the past, Canadian punk quartet Junior Battles has unveiled the video for “Basements”.

Created by members of the the band in one coffee-fueled night of stealing and editing, the video not only spits in the face of trademark law, but also the memory of nearly every movie from my childhood. To view the zero budget greatness, scroll down.

“Basements” is the first single from the Toronto outfit’s Self-Titled 7″, which was released earlier this year on Square Up Records. Copies of the vinyl are still available from the label. The 4-song effort can also be downloaded for free from our friends at If You Make It, HERE.

Beginning next week, Junior Battles will embark on a two week tour of the U.S. with Houston’s O Pioneers!!!. The bands toured together earlier this year and recently shared a Split 7″ on Kiss Of Death Records.
