Minneapolis-based songwriter Jeremy Messersmith premiered the video for his track “Organ Donor” on Paste.com (also viewable below). The track, off his new album ‘The Reluctant Graveyard’ was recently featured on RCRD LBL, who called it a “little slice of gorgeous chamber pop”.

The animated clip, directed by Eric Power, is full of the same eerie yet playful sensibility that permeates the track and ‘The Reluctant Graveyard’. The video follows the outcomes of organs donated by a Jack Skellington-esque character, his heart residing in a school library, his tongue in a sanctuary and his brain in a seminary, until only his bones are buried.

Jeremy has also announced new tour dates for his North American tour, which has included dates with The Mynabirds, Frightened Rabbit, KaiserCartel and Telekinesis, as well as a sold out release show at Minneapolis’s historic Cedar Culture Center – a record number of ticket sales for the venue.
