The Skinny: Formed in late 2008 against the backdrop of Massachusetts’ Merrimack Valley, Age of End shapes a variety of genres into a rhythmically powerful and musically diverse sound. Influences of Metal, Hardcore, and Hard Rock are scattered throughout the band’s independent debut album The Rhythm of The Slaughter, released in January 2010. Recorded at Woodshop Recording Studios in Andover, MA with producer Charlie “Bunk” Borruso (Godsmack, Dogfight, Another Animal), the full length’s first single/b side, “Shattered/believe,” received thousands of plays online before the band had ever even taken the stage.

Since their first show in July ‘09, Age of End has already been given the opportunity to play with a wide variety of national acts including Shinedown, Puddle of Mudd, Papa Roach, Sevendust, Nonpoint, Cold, Soulfly, 10 Years, Unearth, Full Blown Chaos, and more. The band has also been a part of multiple festivals including WCYY’s “Oxxfest” in Oxford, ME, and, most recently, WAAF’s “Indoor Beach Party” in March ’10. Age of End have very quickly established themselves as a mainstay of the local music scene and are primed to take things to the next level with regional and national tours already in the works.

Born in 2003, V13 was a socio-political website that, in 2005, morphed into PureGrainAudio and spent 15 years developing into one of Canada's (and the world’s) leading music sites. On the eve of the site’s 15th anniversary, a full re-launch and rebrand takes us back to our roots and opens the door to a full suite of Music, Film, TV, and Cultural content.
