Monday night All Time Low celebrated the release of its ‘Straight To DVD’ home movie (in stores May 25) with a star studded Hollywood movie premiere at the Music Box on Hollywood Blvd. As fans lined up outside the venue for hours to claim front row seats to the film’s premiere, a who’s who among the band’s friends, including Mark Hoppus, brothers Joel and Benji Madden, Pete Wentz, and Ryan Kelly of Yellowcard, to name a few, came out to show their support.

“One of the most memorable nights of my life,” drummer Rian Dawson said of the evening.

‘Straight To DVD’ follows All Time Low as the band travels across America with, as the film’s trailer tells it, “one mission, to tell as many dick jokes as possible.” A film so massive no movie theater could contain it, ‘Straight To DVD’ is part documentary and part live concert film.

Celebrating the band’s home video release, the evening, sponsored by Hot Topic, also benefited Invisible Children (www.invisiblechildren.com) a global movement seeking to end the conflict in Uganda and stop the abduction of children for use as child soldiers.

Kicking off the night’s festivities, the members of All Time Low, Alex Gaskarth, Jack Barakat, Rian Dawson, and Zack Merrick, along with Pete Wentz, introduced a short Invisible Children related film before delighting fans, friends and family members with the world premiere of ‘Straight To DVD’ shown in its entirety.

After a fan Q&A with the band, All Time Low’s invited guests made their way to a lively, open bar party atop the roof of the Music Box theater where a sequel to the shenanigans in ‘Straight To DVD’ could have easily been shot.

All Time Low will soon be hitting the road as a co-headliner on The Bamboozle Roadshow alongside such acts as Boys Like Girls, LMFAO, Third Eye Blind and many more. The tour kicks off May 21 in Columbia, MD.
