In his new song and lead single, “In My Head,” Richy Nix delivers the punch that his older songs didn’t have. The track showcases the best of his musical talents which intersect to create one fierce sound. Heavy guitar riffs combined with singing and rapping showcase a wide range of talents while the lyrics portray a delightful combination of both darkness and optimism. Side note, the lyrics are explicit, so get your kid to put the earmuffs on; there’s a ton of swears.

Richy Nix’s sound has gone from mild to spicy; hopefully, there will be more songs like this saucy combo on the new EP, Note to Self. In comparison, the older tunes always felt lacking; as if Nix was holding something back, whereas with this new material a lot of fiery emotion is being released… which makes you want to get up and dance. If you like Eminem and/or Linkin Park, or any artists similar to these examples, then you will probably like Richy Nix. This song is quite catchy and definitely worth checking out.
