The Skinny: At first look and further listen it’s evident that the lyrically clever and vividly metallic power trio CHUNK distinguish themselves not only with their down tuning and sonically fat sound, but also with their collaborative songwriting expertise, their passionate performing and their unusual take on the three piece configuration with their dual lead vocalists.

Over the last seven years CHUNK has thrived on the evolution of the creative song writing process and has learned the secret of easy collaboration by writing and playing with comfort and conviction in pursuit of their common goals. Many years ago it took the trio a week and all of their resources to create their first record – Egg in an Ashtray. The songs were outstanding but the band felt they could do better sonically. Local media were supportive and their live shows generated an avid fan base not so much by redefining the metal genre as much as refining it dynamically and with their signature humour.
