Manowar is a band that has sold over 9 million records worldwide and they have been inducted into the Guinness Book of World Records on three different occasions for delivering the world’s loudest performance. Unbelievably, in February, the band set yet another record by performing the longest heavy metal concert ever. The group played a show in Bulgaria that lasted for a ridiculous 5 hours and 1 minute. Talk about value for your dollar!
Manowar have withstood the test of time especially in a business where bands come and go so frequently it is impossible to keep up. They have remained rock solid and stayed true to their Power Metal Sound, a genre they have greatly helped define. Huge choruses, big melodies and a caliber of playing that is second to none, Manowar are a tried and true metal band that has been releasing unbelievable albums for over twenty-five years.
