the Skinny: Hailing from Cleveland, Ohio, Ventana gets set to release their debut album American Survival Guide Vol. 1, available everywhere on October 6th. American Survival Guide is 11 songs of abrasive industrial metal with villainous undertones and murderous inclinations that resound throughout. Ventana features members of Mushroomhead and was co-produced by Mushroomhead’s mastermind Steve “Skinny” Felton. The result is a hybrid of dark industrial music with an often brutal tongue-in-cheek attitude. Layers of synths combined with ballistic percussion capture a viral blend of thrash metal rhythms in a crisp sound environment. [ END ]
