The Bands:

Misguided Aggression: From the down and dirty backwoods of Woodstock, Ontario, Misguided Aggression are the newest metal band to emerge onto the Canadian metal scene. The band mixes bone crushing brutality with head-banging grooves to create the soundtrack to a drunken bar brawl between Lamb of God and Meshuggah. The band’s national debut “Hatchala” was released by Year of the Sun/Kerosene Media and has already made Misguided Aggression one of the powerhouses acts within the Ontario scene. Sputnik Music hailed the group’s debut album as, “One of the neatest records of extreme metal from an upcoming band I’ve heard in quite a while.” The group recently shot a video for their lead single “Our Kingdom Come” with director Chad Archibald (Arise and Ruin, Farewell To Freeway) and are currently planning a fall Canadian tour. Beginning their ascension through the underground metal scene in 2004, the band has quickly made an impact with their bone crushing style and in your face attitude. It’s fair to say that their current lineup, consisting of Randy Allcock (Guitars), Ben Dobson (Guitars), Rob Demedeiros (Vocals), John Ryan Godfrey (Bass) and Ben Taylor (Drums), has successfully taken metallic promise and turned it into cold hard fact.
