You’re standing in a dark room staring into the white light of a snowy television. You vanish into the feeling you know you are onto something big. TV Heart Attack pack the pieces of your broken heart into bittersweet hook filled rock songs. Their sound is exciting and vital. It’s inspired and completely confessional. Since their formation in late 2005 the band has played a list of exciting shows including the Virgin Music Festival (with headliners The Killers), Whistler Ski and Snowboard Festival, and Toronto’s infamous North By North East Festival. They have shared the stage with such notable acts as The Von Bondies, The French Kicks, 54-40, and Whitey.
The first single Hypnotic Eyes was a radio favorite in the summer of 07’ leading the band on several Canadian tours. Their sound and style has landed them on high profile soundtracks and in front of the camera for CTV’s Whistler and MTV’s Kaya. The film noir video for the single Bang Bang Bang won “Best Video” awards in Canada and the U.S. Now you can hear more TVHA on EA’s NHL 09’. Following up on the success of their debut release TV Heart Attack have now completed a new EP titled Lost In The Sway, being released by Thorny Bleeder Records.
