GOODNIGHT SUNRISE’S Exclusive Pre-Order Of Its ‘Stop, Drop And Roll’ EP
Goodnight Sunrise and Go! Merch are currently offering fans an opportunity to pre-order the band’s upcoming EP Stop, Drop and Roll. The link to pre-order can be found at http://gomerch.com/goodnightsunrise/preorder. The EP will hit stores June 23. Hailing from Helena, Montana, the band is preparing a week’s worth of CD Release Shows in their home state this month. Formed in 2006, Goodnight Sunrise (Dan Murphy, lead vocals, guitar; Justin Benner, guitar; Mike Ogle, drums; Sam Smetana, bass) went straight to work in the winter of 2007, to write and record their self-produced, debut EP Close & Counting.
Goodnight Sunrise has played over 250 shows since the release of its debut EP and is preparing to embark on its first national tour in July 2009. While on tour, they have shared the stage with the likes of Mae, Plain White T’s, Anberlin and Artist vs. Poet.
After creating a wave of support across the country from constant touring, opportunities arrived for major exposure. Goodnight Sunrise has licensed music to MTV’s “Real World Road Rules Challenge,” “Bad Girls Club,” and “Keeping Up With The Kardashians.” The band’s DIY work ethic has also garnered them indie spotlight features in Alternative Press and AMP Magazine. AMP Magazine wrote: “These guys are going places fast. Which is no surprise, this band is just as personable as they are talented, making it that much easier to fall in love with them.”
