PRONG’s “Power Of The Damn Mixxxer” Exclusive Pre-order & Tour Info

Published

Pre-order packages, including an exclusive bonus track, for Prong’s forthcoming remix collection, Power of The Damn MiXXXer (13th Planet Records, May 12 release), are now available via the label’s web store (thirteenthplanetstore.com).

The remix collection features alternate takes of songs from last year’s Power of The Damager from a wide variety of industrial, metal and experimental artists including The Dillinger Escape Plan, Revolting Cocks and Anthrax’s Rob Caggiano. As a younger generation now begins to discover Prong, one of the most influential industrial metal bands of the 90’s, reviewers are also chiming in with praise for Power of The Damn MiXXXer. AOL’s Noisecreep says of the release, “a volcano swelling remix of Prong’s previous album, a rather dusted over gem…” while Abort Magazine proclaims the new album is “destined to be an industrial classic.”

As previously reported, Prong will headline a European run named the “Worst of The Worst” tour (dates below); just confirmed as support will be the UK band Die So Fluid. With the postponement of The Suicidal Metalfest in Tucson, Ariz., Prong’s May 10 club show has been canceled.
