Multi-platinum Island Records’ five-man band Saliva has completed its aptly-titled fifth album, CINCO DIABLO, set to arrive in the physical and digital marketplace on December 16th – the ultimate alt-metal post-grunge must-have CD this twisted holiday season! The new album’s first single pick, “Family Reunion,” was #1 Most Added at Active Rock and Modern Rock radio and is already on over 75 stations at both formats.

CINCO DIABLO is the long-awaited followed to Blood Stained Love Story, Saliva’s fourth album, released nearly two years ago in January 2007. It gave the band the highest Soundscan debut of their career – #19-bullet on combined first week sales of 30,000 copies. The album also spun off one of Saliva’s highest-charting singles, “Ladies and Gentlemen,” which rose to #1 at Active Rock and #2 at Mainstream Rock. “Ladies and Gentlemen” was heard in a Sony Playstation commercial last year, and was also used in Wrestlemania and Ultimate Fighting show Wired. The song matched the success of their biggest single to date, “Always,” which hit #1 at Active and Modern Rock back in 2002 (from the Back Into Your System album).
